Review Jury for the 3rd SRIFF Project Pitches determined
The other day the Review Jury for the 3rd Silk Road International Film Festival (SRIFF) Project Pitches was established. Four jurors will review the shortlisted projects to mark and determine the nominated ones through review meeting. The nominated projects will compete for the three Project Pitches awards in September.

The deadline for project solicitation is August 25, the preliminary review is scheduled to be finished before September. The jury for the preliminary review is composed of experts from EntGroup. EntGroup dedicates to establishing a platform for film project investment and serving filmmakers, aiming to be the platform that effectively connects upstream and downstream entertainment resources and provides consultations, creative space and other services through online integration of talents and offline capital allocation. Based on experience of years of project evaluation and recommendation, the jury for preliminary review will make reference to film investment risk assessment model of EntGroup (FIRM), fairly and objectively choose mature projects with competiveness for review. Review meeting will be held early September in Beijing and the nominated list will be announced subsequently.
The four review jurors invited for the 3rd SRIFF Project Pitches are all from well-known production companies. They will take into full account the commercial potential and creative capability of the projects and grade them in reference to commercial character, completeness and style uniqueness of the shortlisted projects. They will take advantage of their professionalism to identify categorized and market-oriented talented film projects.
The nominated projects will compete for the three awards in Xi’an, and the project owners will participate in the “Road of Film• Master Class International Young Directors Carnival” jointly held by the sponsors and the Movie View magazine, listening to the seniors of film-television industry sharing their experience, conducting face-to-face communication with domestic and international film masters, which is a good opportunity for young film practitioners.
