Workshops on SRIFF Opening/Closing ceremony and Printing Materials held
From August 16 to 17, workshops on the 3rd Silk Road International Film Festival (SRIFF) printing materials and opening/closing ceremony were held in Qujiang Culture Building. Present were heads of each relevant department of the Secretariat of the Silk Road International Film Festival (Xi’an) Executive Committee and units concerned.
Workshop on the 3rd SRIFF Printing Materials
On the afternoon of August 16, Workshop on the SRIFF Printing Materials was held in Qujiang Culture Building, soliciting opinions on and demands for printing materials at different stages. Associated personnel of each department of the Secretariat of the Executive Committee attended the workshop.
Printing materials for the film festival include posters, foldouts, atlases, writing paper, invitations, publications, paper bags and so on, which are important to present and publicize the film festival. Different departments have different demands and requirements for them, the Secretariat of the Executive Committee formulated unified standards and requirements.
At the workshop, varieties, specifications and quantity of printing material needed by each department before, during and after the film festival were collected by the Secretariat Office. Related officials of the Secretariat Office expressed they would try their best to meet the needs of each department and establish communication mechanism to guarantee the printing and provision of printing materials for the film festival.
Workshop on the 3rd SRIFF Opening/Closing Ceremony Coordination
On the afternoon of August 17, Workshop on the 3rd SRIFF Opening/Closing Ceremony Coordination was held in Qujiang Culture Building. Related officials of the Secretariat of the Executive Committee and Trends Group working team attended the workshop. The 3rd SRIFF opening ceremony will be held in Xi’an Radio & TV Grand Theater on September 19, the closing ceremony/award ceremony in Daming Palace National Heritage Park on September 23.
At the workshop, the head of the Trends Group working team reported the up-to-date opening/closing ceremony schemes and conducted communication with heads of other teams in details. It is anticipated that the arrangement for Xi’an Radio & TV Grand Theater will be placed one week ahead of schedule.
Meanwhile, given the opening/closing ceremony schemes and the conditions of Xi’an Radio & TV Grand Theater and Daming Palace National Heritage Park, zone setting for the red carpet, entrance passageways for the audience and stars, media interview, official advertising space, security check channels and vehicle entrance/exit was meticulously discussed, finalizing the audience for the opening/closing ceremony, seats, permits, parking lot, media reporters, power supply, security control, transportation and other issues. There are 33 days to go from the opening of the 3rd SRIFF, all departments of the Secretariat of the Executive Committee will seize the time and spare no effort to guarantee the opening/closing ceremony and other key activities to be carried through smoothly.
